On the Queen’s recent admittance to hospital, viewers were not impressed. Some didn’t believe the story, and others, like best friends Stephen and Michael from Liverpool, were disgusted in the fact they were exposed to the Queen’s erratic bowels.
When it came to last’s week’s episode of Embarrassing Bodies, the viewers could quite catch their breath. A few oooohs and aaaahs accompanied by disturbed faces filled each room as they were exposed to an operation performed on a patient’s penis. And they couldn’t quite get their heads around why people would go on the show in the first place. Mum Nikki of the Tapper family said, “not in a million billion years”. Would you?
Jeremy Clarkson and his team on Top Gear certainly got people talking, mostly about their protruding tummies. Maybe less driving and more running is needed Mr Clarkson!
Documentary 16 Kids and Counting had the audience aghast. Retired teacher, June, was watching the programme with her husband of 52 years, Leon. She just couldn’t wrap her head around it: “I don’t know why anybody would want that many children” while Sandra from London asked the question, “is she not tired?” Supporting the couple was Chris from Manchester who said, “They seem like good parents who provide for their children, why shouldn’t they have has many children as they want?” Fair point, Chris.
Bank Of Dave brought the viewers together in agreement. The audience champoined Dave’s efforts to make a difference to banking in Britain, 73 year old Colin naming him “man of the year”.
One Born Every Minute brought back those screwed up faces and uncomfortable screams as they watched a baby being born, even putting some off their pizza! Some bottom lips were quivering with emotion too, as they reminisced on their own personal experiences. Awww!
Simon Cowell’s new series Food Glorious Food sparked debate as some viewers were convinced it was a rip-off the Great British Bake Off, while others couldn’t understand why Carol Vorderman was the selected presenter. Apparently a mathematician has nothing to do with food. Who knew?
